Job Description
Job Title: Hardware Developer (Model-Hardware). Location: Yorktown Heights, NY, United States. Employment Type: Full-time (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design and delivery of quantum processor units and test sites.
- Collaborate with experimental teams to improve model-hardware correlation;
- Develop and apply methodologies for hardware modeling and simulation;
- Utilize microwave engineering tools such as Keysight ADS, Ansys AEDT, and Cadence Spectre for quantum device simulation.
- Contribute to exploratory research and production-level quantum hardware development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Strong background in microwave engineering and high-frequency testing;
- Experience with simulation tools like ADS, HFSS, AEDT, SpectreRF, or similar;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
Preferred:
- PhD in a related discipline.
- Experience in quantum device modeling or quantum computing theory.
- Familiarity with quantum processor design and performance analysis.
