Job Description

Job Title: Quantum Information and Error Correction Theorist. Location: Yorktown Heights, NY, USA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in quantum error correction, fault-tolerant computing, and quantum algorithms.
  • Develop and refine error correction protocols to improve quantum hardware performance.
  • Collaborate with experimental and software teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations.
  • Publish and present high-impact research in top scientific journals and conferences;
  • Contribute to the design and advancement of quantum hardware architectures.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in physics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven research record in quantum computing theory;
  • At least 5 years of experience in quantum computing, focusing on error correction, fault tolerance, quantum algorithms, or quantum information theory.

Preferred:

  • PhD in quantum information science or a related discipline.
  • Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing;
  • Programming experience in quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane.
