Job Description

Job Title: Quantum Processor Researcher. Location: Yorktown Heights, NY, USA

Responsibilities:

• Design, simulate, and analyze quantum processors and components.
• Conduct experiments on quantum devices, focusing on superconducting qubits and Josephson junctions.
• Develop and modify software for controlling quantum devices.
• Optimize microwave circuits and quantum hardware for improved coherence and gate fidelity.
• Work with dilution refrigerators and cryogenic systems for quantum device operation;
• Research and implement quantum error correction hardware to support fault-tolerant computing.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Physics or a related field.
• Experience in designing and simulating quantum devices using electromagnetic and quantum physics principles.
• Experience with quantum control systems, digital sources, and digitizing hardware.

Preferred:

• PhD in Physics or related field.
• Hands-on experience with superconducting devices, including Josephson junctions.
• Experience working with dilution refrigerators and cryogenic setups;
• Knowledge of quantum error correction codes and the necessary hardware to implement them.
• Experience in designing microwave circuits for quantum applications.
