NVIDIA is a big tech company that produces high-performance computer chips and graphics cards. They are largely known for the computer vision GPU and all the amazing features it offers for gaming (video gaming). However, NVIDIA also develops applications that accelerate scientific work for engineers and business people, such as training automation systems or executing intelligent software tasks. Their chips find use in mobile devices, automotive computers, and in supercomputers!

NVIDIA also contributes to advancements in quantum computing. NVIDIA developed a supercomputer class platform cuQuantum. This tailored platform enables classical computers to simulate the workings of quantum computers. It is very useful because working quantum computers are still under construction and undergoing various tests. NVIDIA develops strategies (trojan horses) for scientists to test out quantum ideas on real quantum machines. In collaboration with other partners, NVIDIA actively participates in the rapid development of quantum technologies in industrial consortiums and academic consortia.
