Job Title: Student Researcher, BS/MS, Winter/Summer 2025. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Google's research teams across various disciplines such as Quantum Information Science, AI, and machine learning.
• Participate in projects aimed at solving large-scale real-world problems and contribute to the advancement of computing technologies.
• Engage in hands-on research, working alongside scientists and engineers on exploratory and innovative challenges;
• Contribute to the creation of breakthrough technologies through collaboration and rigorous problem-solving.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Natural Sciences, or a related technical field;
• Experience in one or more areas of computer science such as Natural Language Understanding, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Quantum Information Science, or similar fields;
• Familiarity with general-purpose programming languages, such as Python, Java, C/C++, etc.
• Experience in a research setting, including internships, full-time positions, or academic research.

Preferred:

• Returning to full-time academic studies after the internship.
• Active participation in research communities, including publications at conferences or journals;
• Experience with AI and machine learning, or quantum research projects.

• The role offers flexible time commitment, length of opportunity, and the option to work remotely or on-site, depending on the project and team.
• The internship is non-conversion eligible, meaning participants are not guaranteed full-time employment following the internship.

• Compensation details: The US base salary for this role ranges from $95,000 to $126,000 annually. Actual pay will depend on location, skills, experience, and education.
