Initially launched as a search engine in 1998, Google has developed into one of the largest technology firms in the world. The company currently develops Android, Google Chrome, and Gmail software, in addition to smart devices such as the Google Pixel and Nest, and cloud services, AI tools, and self driving technology.

Google is at the forefront of Quantum computing. Their team created Sycamore, the first quantum computer to solve a problem in mere seconds which would take thousands of years for conventional computers. Google is working on improving AI, solving complex scientific problems, and building more efficient online security systems with the use of quantum technology.
